Large-size touch screens are employed in various fields. For instance, they are employed as selling tools in car dealerships. Cars are chosen from an electronic catalog and displayed in the large PDP. The dealers and customers examine detail of the cars by rotating, zooming and changing colors. Large touch screens are also used in an information counter of a company. A visitor searches the name and/or departments of the person he is visiting, and makes an intra-office call with the touch screen display. Infrared and surface acoustic technologies are often used for these applications.
