Projected capacitive touch screens are the type of touch that most are familiar with as they are commonly used on Smartphones and tablet PCs. If you have a Smartphone, you know how comfortable its light-touch operation is; such as flicking and zooming. We have such projected capacitive touch screens ready for industrial use for middle and large sizes. Projected capacitive touch screens are trendy and popular not only due their operability but also the excellent durability, toughness, appearance and design.

Capacitive Multi-touch Type Detection Principle

  • No part of the touch screen physically moves at detection. Functional degradation seldom occurs even over a long period of use.
  • As it is made of glass, projected capacitive touch screens are tough and weather-resistant. Their functionality are not affected by ultraviolet radiation.

DUS series is the projected capacitive touch screen operated with DMC's original controller. It's comprehensive development support in terms of both touch screen (hardware) and controller (software) will be advantageous for you.

How to Introduce Projected Capacitive Touch Screens

Projected capacitive touch screen require tuning of the controller board to match it's touch screen specifications such as panel size, multi-touch function, material/thickness of covering glass. If you wish to introduce this product, we strongly recommend you to communicate with us how you want to use the touch screen and what specifications you require. We will provide you with the touch screen and controller board tuned for your needs.

The option prevent light reflection on the panel surface and improve visibility.

Projected capacitive touch screen does not need the below options.

Touch Screen Protection Film Capacitive touch screen has glass surface and does not need protection film to prevent abrasion and dirt.
Ultraviolet Protection Film Capacitive touch screen does not get disturbed functionally by ultraviolet. It does not need ultraviolet protection film.
Smooth Touch Film Smooth touch film is not available for digital matrix resistive touch screen.
Anti-newtonring Film Newtonring does not occur on capacitive touch screen due to its structure. The anti-newtonring film is unnecessary for it.
