We would like to inform you that we are making a material change to the adhesive layer used in our glass structure projected capacitive touch screen products.

Affected Products
DUS, DUS-U, DUS-L, DUS-A, DUS-N, DUS-LA, DUS-LD, DFS, EXC series, and customized Gass/Glass structure*1 projected capacitive touch screens.
*1 Glass/Glass structure refers to products with a structure where two or more layers of glass are laminated together.

Material change of the adhesive layer between sheets of the glass

Reason for Change
The ultraviolet absorber "UV-328" contained in the adhesive layer was added to Annex A (Elimination) of the Stockholm Convention during the 11th Conference of the Parties (COP11). Consequently, the manufacturing, import/export, and use of products containing this substance are expected to be prohibited in various countries in the future.

There will be no change in specifications, environmental characteristics, or prices due to this change.

Schedule of the Change
The change to the product will be implemented in Q2 2024 or later, depending on procurement conditions.
